Software for finance, banking, and insurance
In financial services, accuracy and traceability matter as much as speed. We help firms connect their systems, move old ones forward, and build the portals, workflows, and reporting that sit around the core, with a record of every change.

At a glance
What we build
We build the systems banks, lenders, insurers, advisers, and finance teams use to onboard customers, process transactions and claims, report, and keep records.
Problems we solve
Core systems are old and closed, data is re-keyed between them, reports are assembled by hand, and every change must preserve accuracy and a record of who did what.
Who we serve
Finance, banking, lending, insurance, and advisory firms, and the finance and operations teams of other companies.
How to choose
Connect and modernize in stages around the process that carries the most risk or manual effort, with accuracy checks and audit trails designed in from the start.
What is different
Where a small mistake becomes a large one
A wrong figure in a marketing report is embarrassing. A wrong figure in a ledger, a policy record, or a regulatory return can be costly and hard to undo. Financial software is therefore built around checks: totals that must match, steps that must be approved, and records that must show who did what and when.
The second difference is history. Many firms run on core systems that are decades old, reliable in their narrow job and closed to everything else. New tools sit around them, connected by exports and re-typing. That is where errors and delay creep in.
Our work is mostly at that edge: connecting the core to the tools around it, automating the manual steps, and moving old components forward one at a time.
What it looks like
An approval flow with every step recorded
Financial processes need each approval recorded.

Worth knowing
A note on regulation
Financial firms operate under rules that differ by country and by activity. We build to the requirements you give us, and we are not your compliance adviser.
- Requirements come from you and your regulator, and we design to them
- We suggest you confirm legal and regulatory points with your own advisers
- We keep an audit trail of changes and access, whatever the rules
Where to start
Which problem comes first?
Firms usually start in one of four places. The right first project is the one where manual effort or risk is highest.
What is your most pressing problem?
Choose this when
Customers wait while documents and checks move between people and systems.
- What you get
- A guided application, automatic checks, and routing of exceptions to reviewers.
- Keep in mind
- Keep a person in the decision for anything that carries judgment or risk.
Choose this when
Month-end and regulatory figures are built from several systems in spreadsheets.
- What you get
- Data brought together and checked, with measures defined once.
- Keep in mind
- Agree definitions first; a faster wrong figure is worse than a slow right one.
Choose this when
The same customer details are held in the core, the CRM, and billing.
- What you get
- Connections that carry each fact once, with a rule for which system owns it.
- Keep in mind
- Test with real edge cases such as merged accounts and corrections.
Choose this when
Every change is slow, risky, or impossible, and few people understand it.
- What you get
- A staged route that surrounds, then replaces, parts of it.
- Keep in mind
- Plan data checks and a way back for every step.

After a staff member left, we weren't confident we'd closed every account. Daniel at DECHY helped us spot gaps we hadn't considered, and now we feel much more confident about offboarding.

Common questions
Questions about financial software
Can you work around our old core system?
Yes. We usually build around it first, connecting it to the tools that need its data, and then move parts of it forward in stages.
How do you protect sensitive financial data?
With role-based access, encryption in storage and in transit, detailed logs, and minimal access for anyone working on the system. Development and testing use test data.
Are you able to guarantee regulatory compliance?
Compliance is your responsibility and your regulator's judgment. We build to the requirements you give us and design for traceability, and we suggest you confirm points with your own advisers.
Can automation make decisions for us?
It can apply fixed rules and flag exceptions. We keep a person in the decision wherever judgment or risk is involved.

Accuracy and audit notes
For your developers and IT lead: our choices on accuracy, audit and access, and integration, and the reasoning behind each.
- Money is handled in exact decimal types, never in floating-point numbers, and rounding rules are written down and tested.
- Totals are reconciled between systems automatically, and differences raise an alert.
- Every change to a record is logged with who, when, and what changed, in a form that cannot be quietly altered.
- Duties are separated, so the person who requests a change is not the person who approves it.
Messages between systems carry identifiers that make each action repeatable without duplicating it. See our integration work.
