Software for retail and ecommerce
Selling is easy to start and hard to run well. As soon as there are several channels, the stock count, the orders, and the customer records have to agree. We build and connect the systems that make them agree, from the store to the warehouse door.

At a glance
What we build
We build the systems that sell and deliver products: the online store, stock, orders, payments, customer records, support, and the reports that tie them together.
Problems we solve
Stock, orders, and customers live in separate tools, so a product shows as available when it is not, orders are re-typed, and the numbers differ between teams.
Who we serve
Retailers, online stores, brands that sell direct, and the teams that run their operations and marketing.
How to choose
Make stock and orders agree across every channel first, then automate the order path, then use the joined-up data for customers and reporting.
What is different
A business of many small, repeated transactions
Retail is high in volume and low in margin per order, so small inefficiencies are multiplied thousands of times. A minute of re-typing per order, a one per cent stock error, a delay in refunding a return: each is invisible on one order and decisive across a year.
It is also seasonal. Systems that cope in March can fail in November, so the question is not only whether something works but whether it works on the busiest day.
The best returns come from the unglamorous parts: orders that flow without touching, stock that is true, and support that can see the order it is asked about.
Where it drifts
Where channels drift apart
| Symptom | Usual cause | Usual fix |
|---|---|---|
| A product sells that is out of stock | Stock is updated by hand or on a delay between channels. | Stock updates sent as events from the one place that owns the count. |
| Orders are re-typed into the warehouse or accounts | The store and back office are not connected. | An order connection with checks, so each order moves once. |
| The same customer appears several times | Each channel creates its own record. | Matching rules, one customer record, and a clean-up of the old ones. |
| Sales figures differ by team | Each team counts returns, tax, and shipping in its own way. | Agreed measures calculated in one place. |
What it looks like
A store front joined to the engine behind it
Retail systems agree when the shop front and the engine behind it share one catalog, price, and stock record.

What clients say
Teams like yours, in their own words
During busy weekends, staff were leaving the shop floor to check stock on a desktop.
Olivia BrooksRetail Store ManagerMarketRow RetailRetail I was worried we'd end up sending customers canned answers. Amara at DECHY understood that. I like that unusual questions still reach a person who can actually help.

Common questions
Questions about retail software
Should we use a hosted store or build our own?
A hosted or ready-made store suits most retailers. Build custom only where your selling model needs something it cannot do. We compare the options on your facts.
Can you connect our shop tills and our online store?
Usually, yes. Many point-of-sale systems offer a way to connect. We check what yours allows and design around it.
How do you keep stock accurate across channels?
By making one system own the count and sending changes as events to every channel, with checks that flag differences.
Can you prepare us for a peak season?
Yes. We test the store and the connections under load before the season and set up monitoring for the busiest days.

Technical depth
Peak load and data notes
What we settle early: handling the busiest day, keeping stock true, and customer data and payments, so nothing surprises your team later.
- Product and category pages are served from a content delivery network, so a surge of browsers does not reach the store itself.
- Checkout, which cannot be cached, is load-tested ahead of seasonal peaks.
- Order and stock updates are queued, so a slow warehouse system cannot stall the store.
- One system owns the stock count, and every change is an event with a time and a source.
- A reservation holds an item during checkout, and releases it if the customer leaves.
Card details are handled by the payment provider and never stored on your systems. Customer records follow the privacy rules of each market you sell in.
