Software for logistics and transport
In logistics, information has to travel as fast as the goods. We connect order, dispatch, warehouse, and carrier systems, automate the documents that slow them down, and give customers and managers one live view of where things stand.

At a glance
What we build
We build the systems that move goods and information together: orders, dispatch, warehouse work, carrier connections, tracking, and the documents and reports around them.
Problems we solve
Orders, carriers, warehouses, and customers each use different systems, status is chased by phone, documents are re-typed, and nobody has one reliable view of where things are.
Who we serve
Logistics providers, transport and warehousing firms, and the supply chain teams of manufacturers and retailers.
How to choose
Connect the systems that hold order and shipment status first, then automate documents and exceptions, then give customers and managers a live view.
What is different
A business where the status is the product
Customers rarely ask how a shipment is handled. They ask where it is. The value a logistics firm sells is reliable movement and reliable information, and the second is often what customers notice first.
The difficulty is that the information lives in many places. The order sits in the customer's system, the booking with a carrier, the loading in the warehouse tool, the proof of delivery on a driver's phone. The data exists. It does not meet.
Our work is largely to make it meet: to connect the sources, resolve the differences, and present one dependable status to the people who ask.
Where to start
What should come first?
The first project is the one that removes the most re-typing or the most chasing.
Where is the most effort wasted?
Choose this when
Staff copy order details between the customer's system, the booking, and the planning tool.
- What you get
- Connections that carry each order once, with checks on addresses and quantities.
- Keep in mind
- Agree which system owns each field, or changes overwrite each other.
Choose this when
Customers and staff phone to ask where a shipment is.
- What you get
- A live tracking view and automatic notifications, fed by every system that knows.
- Keep in mind
- Show status that is true. A wrong tracking page is worse than none.
Choose this when
Documents are produced by hand for each shipment.
- What you get
- Documents generated from the order data and sent automatically.
- Keep in mind
- Handle the exceptions, such as amended orders, without a manual restart.
Choose this when
On-time rate, cost per delivery, and delays are not visible until the month ends.
- What you get
- A dashboard fed by the same data that runs operations.
- Keep in mind
- Define on-time carefully, and use the same definition everywhere.
What it looks like
An operations view of what needs attention
Logistics managers need exceptions first.

What DECHY can do
How we help logistics teams
Connect
- Order systems, carriers, warehouse tools, and accounting.
- Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, the core software that runs a firm's orders and accounts, linked to everything around them.
Automate
- Document generation and sending.
- Exception alerts and rule-based routing. See process automation.
Show
- Customer tracking pages and notifications.
- Dashboards for managers. See business dashboards.
Modernize
- Staged moves away from old planning or warehouse systems. See legacy system modernization.
- Mobile apps for drivers and warehouse staff.
Where it breaks
Where information usually gets lost
Between the order and the booking
Order details are re-typed into a carrier or planning tool, and mistakes follow.
Between the warehouse and the customer
Pick, pack, and dispatch happen, but the customer's status does not change until someone updates it.
On the road
Proof of delivery and exceptions stay on a driver's phone or paper until the end of the day.
In the paperwork
Invoices, delivery notes, and customs documents are assembled by hand from several systems.
In the reports
On-time and cost figures are built after the fact, so problems are seen late.
In the old systems
A planning or warehouse system that works but cannot share data, so everything around it is manual.

What clients say
Teams like yours, in their own words
DECHY fixed the part of our dispatch board that left us chasing updates in three places. I can see what is delayed and why, without ringing around.
Thomas ReedDispatch Operations ManagerHarborline LogisticsLogistics I used to combine three exports before every morning meeting. DECHY helped us get to one set of numbers. We spend the meeting deciding what to do, not arguing over which report is right.
Michael ChenFinance Operations ManagerCrestline DistributionLogistics The margin report used to arrive after the buying meeting. Now I can compare margin, discounts, and stock in the same view before we decide what to reorder.

Common questions
Questions about logistics software
Can you connect to our carriers?
Usually, yes. Carriers and platforms vary in what they offer. We check each one and connect through whatever interface it provides.
Can you work with our existing planning or warehouse system?
Yes. We typically connect around it first, and replace parts only where it is the limit.
How do you keep tracking accurate?
By recording status as events from every source, with a time and origin, and by testing the common exceptions such as delays and amended orders.
Do we need a mobile app for drivers?
Only if drivers need to send information from the road. A simple, reliable app that works offline is often worth it, because proof of delivery arrives at once.

Integration and reliability notes
What we settle early: events and status, reliability, and field use, so nothing surprises your team later.
- Each shipment has a stable identifier that every system uses, so updates from different sources attach to the same record.
- Status changes are recorded as events with a time and a source, which makes the history reliable and the current status a calculation, not a guess.
- Messages are queued and retried, so a carrier system that is briefly unavailable does not lose updates.
- Duplicates are detected, so a repeated message cannot change a record twice.
Driver and warehouse apps work with poor or no signal and sync when connection returns. See our mobile app work.
